Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hawkwraps.com (the "Site") and the vehicle wrap, fleet graphics, lettering, signage, and related services provided by Hawk Wraps ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or engaging Hawk Wraps for work, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a quote request, signing a project agreement, dropping off a vehicle, or otherwise engaging our services, you confirm you have authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your business and that you accept these Terms in full.

2. Services

Hawk Wraps provides commercial and personal vehicle wrap design, printing, lamination, and installation, plus related signage and graphics services from our facilities in Linden NJ, Brooklyn NY, and Scranton PA. Specific scope, pricing, and timeline for each project are governed by a separate written Project Agreement.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Pricing ranges on the Site are estimates only. Final pricing is provided in a written quote following consultation. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing is subject to change based on vehicle condition (rust, prior touch-up paint, body filler, aftermarket parts), design complexity revisions beyond two included revision rounds, and changes in material costs.

4. Payment Terms

Standard payment terms:

• Single vehicle: 50% deposit at design approval, balance on completion
• Small fleet (under 15 vehicles): 50% deposit, balance on completion
• Large fleet (15+ vehicles): 40% at design approval, 30% at production start, 30% at final delivery
• Net-30 terms available for established corporate customers with credit approval

Past-due balances accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by New Jersey law. Returned-check and chargeback fees apply.

5. Vehicle Condition & Prep

Customer represents that vehicles delivered for wrapping are in good working order with valid registration and insurance. Hawk Wraps will pre-inspect every vehicle and identify panels requiring prep work (rust repair, paint correction, body filler removal) before wrapping. We are not responsible for delays caused by required prep work or for adhesion issues on aftermarket paint, body filler, or panels previously wrapped.

6. Materials & Warranty

We install only premium cast vinyl (3M IJ180Cv3, Avery Dennison MPI 1105, Oracal 3951RA, or equivalent) with matched UV-cured overlaminate. Standard material warranty is 5 years vertical / 2 years horizontal under normal use, subject to manufacturer warranty terms. Our installation workmanship is warranted for one year following install.

3M MCS Warranty is available on qualifying jobs (3M cast vinyl + 3M overlaminate + 3M certified install). MCS Warranty terms are set by 3M and provided separately.

Warranty does not cover: damage from collision, vandalism, abrasion, harsh chemical cleaning, high-pressure washing within 6 inches of wrap edges, wrap removal performed by anyone other than Hawk Wraps or a 3M certified installer, or damage from prior body filler or aftermarket paint.

7. DOT, HIC, and Other Compliance

Hawk Wraps designs wraps to meet our customers' stated compliance requirements (USDOT, MC, HIC, state licensing, NEMT, accreditation badges, etc.) but does not independently verify regulatory compliance. Customer is solely responsible for confirming all displayed license numbers, badges, and registrations are current and accurate. Customer warrants that all logos, brand assets, and accreditation marks provided to Hawk Wraps are used with permission and do not infringe any third party's rights.

8. Intellectual Property

Customer retains ownership of customer-provided artwork, logos, and brand assets. Hawk Wraps retains ownership of original design work created for the project until paid in full, at which point a non-exclusive license to use the design on the customer's vehicles is granted. Hawk Wraps retains the right to photograph completed work and use those photographs for portfolio, marketing, and social media purposes unless the customer requests otherwise in writing before installation.

9. Vehicle Storage & Liability

Hawk Wraps carries general liability insurance covering vehicles in our possession for installation. Vehicles left at our facilities are stored at customer's risk for any value above our insurance limit. We are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles or for delays caused by force majeure events (severe weather, supply chain disruption, etc.).

10. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation before design proof approval: full refund minus a design fee proportional to work completed. Cancellation after proof approval but before printing: 50% of deposit retained as cancellation fee. Cancellation after printing begins: no refund of materials and printing costs. Cancellation after install begins: no refund.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Jersey law, Hawk Wraps' total liability for any claim arising from or related to a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by customer for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to lost business, lost profits, or vehicle depreciation) even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Hawk Wraps harmless from any third-party claims arising from (a) artwork or content the customer provided, (b) regulatory non-compliance the customer represented as compliant, or (c) customer's misuse of the wrapped vehicle.

13. Site Use

You agree not to use the Site to: submit false information; harass, impersonate, or defame anyone; upload malicious content; attempt to circumvent Site security; or scrape, mirror, or systematically copy Site content without permission.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or any project shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Union County, New Jersey, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect on the "Last updated" date posted at the top. Continued use of the Site or our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
