Storefront, Office & Vehicle Window Graphics

Window Graphics That Add Privacy, Branding & Everyday Function

Turn storefronts, office glass, interior partitions, and eligible vehicle windows into useful branded surfaces. Hawk Wraps plans each project around view direction, lighting, pane layout, access, and intended lifespan so the finished graphic works in the real space—not only in the proof.

The Best Window Graphic Starts With the View

Glass communicates in both directions. A storefront needs to attract attention from the sidewalk without making the entrance confusing. An office partition may need visual separation while preserving daylight. Door lettering has to stay readable through glare and movement. Vehicle-window graphics must respect the exact glass and operating requirements.

We review who needs to see the graphic, who needs to see through it, the lighting on both sides, pane dimensions, mullions, hardware, existing coatings or film, cleaning, access, and expected duration. Those conditions point toward the right solution—cut lettering, frosted or patterned film, printed graphics, perforated film, or a short-term campaign system.

When a property owner, architect, accessibility team, insurer, or vehicle authority controls part of the scope, we build from the approved requirements and the documentation available for the selected material. The goal is a window graphic that looks intentional and performs the job it was chosen to do.

Choose the Right Window Film for the Job

Compare each option by privacy, visibility, color, viewing distance, maintenance, and how often the message needs to change. The glass and operating environment matter as much as the artwork.

Perforated Printed Window Film

Perforated Printed Window Film

Exterior-facing graphics that can preserve a degree of outward visibility for storefronts and eligible vehicle glass.

Visibility changes with perforation ratio, ink coverage, installation side, lighting, distance, and glass. The effect is not reliably one-way at night. Storefront and vehicle applications require separate sightline, glazing, and approval checks.
Frosted and Dusted Privacy Film

Frosted and Dusted Privacy Film

Light-diffusing film for privacy bands, full panes, conference rooms, reception areas, and interior partitions.

Opacity, band height, viewing distance, movement, lighting, and gaps determine the actual privacy effect. We plan the film around the sightlines that matter; decorative film alone does not certify a legal or operational privacy standard.
Patterned and Gradient Film

Patterned and Gradient Film

Custom stripes, dots, gradients, and cut patterns that screen selected views without closing off the entire pane.

Patterns can mark glass, support wayfinding, create visual separation, or preserve selected views. Scale, spacing, contrast, cleaning, and placement around door hardware should be tested at the intended viewing distance.
Full-Color Window Decals and Murals

Full-Color Window Decals and Murals

Printed window graphics for retail campaigns, launches, displays, branded environments, and large storefront elevations.

Opaque, transparent, and translucent constructions behave differently during the day and at night. We divide the artwork around panes and mullions so faces, offers, and essential copy remain intact.
Cut Lettering and Logos on Glass

Cut Lettering and Logos on Glass

Crisp vinyl identity for business names, hours, contact details, entrances, suite information, and simple brand marks.

Contrast, viewing distance, glare, door movement, and required clear areas shape the layout. Decorative vinyl lettering is not automatically an accessible or code-required sign; required signage should follow the approved project specification.
Temporary Graphics and Clings

Temporary Graphics and Clings

Short-term window graphics for seasonal promotions, pop-ups, events, leasing campaigns, and changing messages.

Product choice depends on duration, glass orientation, heat, reuse expectations, edge exposure, and the removal plan. Clean-removal performance varies with the substrate, coatings, age, residue, exposure, and care.

What Determines Window Graphics Pricing

Pane count and dimensions establish the scale. Material, print construction, finishing, artwork, existing-film removal, glass condition, access, installation hours, and multi-pane alignment determine the rest of the scope.

For an initial estimate, send straight-on photos, approximate pane dimensions, project address, desired viewing direction, target install window, existing-film details, and any owner or product-document requirements. A site survey may still be needed before final production.

Designed Around the Glass, the Space, and the Viewer

Glass and Sightline Survey

We document pane dimensions, viewing direction, lighting, hardware, mullions, coatings, existing film, surface condition, and the locations where privacy or visibility matters.

Application-Specific Materials

Storefront, interior-partition, temporary, and vehicle-window projects are specified separately. Available manufacturer documentation is tied to the material named in the proposal.

Architecture-Aware Design

Logos, faces, offers, and essential copy are positioned around mullions, door seams, handles, transoms, and changes in viewing height before files reach production.

Day and Night Review

We discuss how reflections and lighting can change transparency, contrast, and privacy. Where appearance is critical, a physical sample on the actual glass is more useful than a screen-only promise.

Access and Install Planning

Ground-floor doors, elevated storefronts, occupied offices, secure buildings, and vehicle glass each require a different access, preparation, safety, and scheduling plan.

File and Version Control

For seasonal and multi-location programs, we organize approved artwork, pane maps, location variations, campaign dates, and production notes so the next change starts from known information.

See How Window Graphics Work in Real Spaces

Storefronts, offices, healthcare spaces, restaurants, and vehicle windows each need a different balance of visibility, privacy, information, and brand presence.

From Glass Survey to Finished Installation

1

Survey the Glass and Goal

We collect pane dimensions, photos, viewing direction, lighting, sightlines, existing-film and coating information, access conditions, cleaning routines, and the project team's approval or documentation requirements.

2

Specify and Design

We recommend a window graphic system, map the artwork across the actual elevation, and prepare a scaled proof. Critical privacy, transparency, color, or day/night effects may call for a physical sample on the project glass.

3

Approve and Produce

After the owner-approved content, dimensions, material, installation side, and documentation are confirmed, the Hawk Wraps team prints, cuts, finishes, labels, and quality-checks the graphics in Linden.

4

Prepare, Install, and Hand Off

We coordinate access, prepare the glass according to the selected system, install around the mapped architecture, review the finished scope, and provide applicable cleaning, care, and removal guidance.

What Makes Window Graphics Work After Installation

A strong result stays readable from the intended side, behaves predictably under real lighting, respects the architecture, and remains practical to clean, update, and eventually remove.

01
View Direction — Decide who needs to read, see through, or be screened from each side.
02
Lighting — Check daylight, interior lights, reflections, and nighttime conditions.
03
Sightlines — Map standing, seated, pedestrian, customer, staff, and driver views.
04
Glazing — Identify the pane, coatings, existing film, seals, condition, and use restrictions.
05
Access — Plan doors, lifts, security, occupancy, weather, cleaning, and safe work areas.
06
Approvals — Confirm owner, building, accessibility, safety, and vehicle requirements before production.

Window Graphics Questions, Answered

What's the difference between perforated film and frosted film?
Perforated film uses a printed face with open areas that can preserve some outward view under favorable lighting. Frosted film diffuses the view in both directions while admitting light. Neither result is absolute: perforation ratio, ink coverage, interior and exterior lighting, viewing distance, glass, and installation side all affect what people can see.
How much do window graphics cost?
Pricing depends on pane count and dimensions, film type, print and finishing requirements, artwork readiness, surface condition, removal needs, access equipment, installation hours, location, and any owner or building documentation requirements. Photos and approximate measurements help with initial scope, but final pricing may require a site survey.
Can you see through perforated window film from inside?
Perforated film can preserve a degree of outward visibility, but it is not a one-way-privacy guarantee. The effect is usually strongest when the graphic side is more brightly lit than the viewing side; interior lighting at night can reduce or reverse it. We plan ratio, ink coverage, placement, and sightlines around the actual environment and recommend a sample when visibility is critical.
Will window graphics damage my glass when removed?
No removal outcome should be guaranteed without inspecting the installation. Glass type, films or coatings, edge condition, existing damage, adhesive, age, sun exposure, residue, prior work, and removal technique can all affect the result. We identify known conditions, follow product guidance, and may recommend a test area, but hidden conditions can remain until removal begins.
How long does window film last?
Service life varies with the selected product, installation orientation, sun exposure, heat, glass construction, cleaning, edge exposure, moisture, vehicle use, and maintenance. We provide the applicable manufacturer documentation for the material specified in the proposal rather than promising one lifespan for every window.
Do you handle fire-rated film for commercial buildings?
Tell us before design if the owner, architect, insurer, fire official, or property manager requires a particular test report or product classification. Requirements vary by building, location, assembly, and use, and not every decorative film has the same documentation. We can submit available manufacturer documents for a proposed material, while the project authority decides whether that specification is acceptable.
Can you install window graphics after-hours so my store doesn't close?
After-hours or phased installation may be possible depending on crew availability, building access, security, noise rules, loading restrictions, lift requirements, weather, and project size. Share the permitted access window during quoting so scheduling and any additional logistics can be included in the proposal.
Can I swap seasonal window graphics without paying full price every time?
Yes. We can plan a repeatable seasonal system with master measurements, approved artwork versions, campaign dates, removal assumptions, and storage or disposal instructions. Each swap is quoted for its current artwork, material, removal condition, access, and schedule; saved files do not eliminate the need to inspect the glass and existing graphic.
Can I get a logo cut out of frosted film instead of printed?
Yes. A logo or pattern can be cut as negative space so clear glass shows through the frosted field. Fine details, narrow bridges, cleaning exposure, viewing direction, and the privacy needed across the pane influence how the artwork should be simplified and positioned.
Will perforated rear-window film pass NJ/NYC vehicle inspection?
We cannot guarantee inspection or legal compliance from the film name alone. Rules can depend on the state, vehicle classification, exact window, light transmission, mirrors, safety markings, and current inspection practice. Review the current NY DMV tinted-window guidance and NJ MVC sun-screening information, and verify the approved placement with the applicable authority before production.
