Construction Vehicle Wraps Built for
Jobsites, Roads & Real Fleets
Turn pickups, service bodies, box trucks, dump-truck cabs, and trailers into one recognizable contractor brand. We plan graphics around working equipment, readable service information, and the identifiers your company has approved for display.
Build Recognition Wherever the Work Takes the Fleet
Construction vehicles move between estimates, suppliers, active projects, and service calls. A clear wrap helps people connect those repeated sightings to the same contractor—especially when the truck, trailer, yard sign, and jobsite graphics share one visual system.
The strongest layouts establish a simple hierarchy: company name, trade or project category, one response path, and any current owner-approved identifiers. Credentials, association marks, licenses, guarantees, and service claims belong only when the contractor confirms they are accurate and authorized.
We adapt that hierarchy to the actual work body. Ladder racks, compartment doors, dump bodies, toolboxes, steps, reflectors, cameras, and high-wear zones all affect what should be wrapped, lettered, or deliberately left clear.
The Construction Fleet We Wrap Every Week
We've wrapped every standard contractor vehicle on the road. Here's what your fleet probably looks like and how we approach each.
Half-Ton Pickup (F-150 / Silverado 1500 / Ram 1500)
The supervisor truck. GC name in 6-inch type on both sides, HIC# on the rear and tailgate, plus a service list along the bed sides.
Heavy-Duty Pickup (F-250 / F-350 dually)
The crew truck. Dual rear wheel configurations have a wider rear-fender flare we account for in the proof.
Service-Body Utility (F-450 / F-550)
Plumbing, electrical, roofing, and mechanical crews use bodies with multiple compartment doors and working surfaces.
Dump Truck (F-550 single-axle to Mack tri-axle)
The cab is the standard wrap surface — full color, name, phone, HIC, USDOT. The dump body itself usually gets vinyl lettering only.
Box Truck (Isuzu NPR / Ford E-450 / F-650)
For material delivery, drywall hauling, or larger remodel jobs. The 14–18 foot box is the largest single brand surface a contractor will own.
Enclosed Trailer (Pace / Continental / Haulmark 7×14 to 8.5×24)
Enclosed trailers wrap exactly like a small box truck — full sides, rear ramp door, front cap. Match the truck pulling them.
Dump Trailer / Equipment Trailer
Lettering only because the body itself takes too much abuse for a full wrap to last. Company name, phone, USDOT.
Service Van (Sprinter / Transit / ProMaster)
For finish trades — electricians, plumbers under a GC, finish carpenters, hardscape crews. Standard van wrap scope applies.
A Readable Information Hierarchy for Contractor Vehicles
A construction wrap should identify the business quickly without turning the truck into a dense list of claims. These are the content decisions we work through during proofing.
1Company & Trade Category
Lead with the contractor name and a plain-language category such as general contracting, roofing, masonry, excavation, or remodeling.
2Owner-Verified Identifiers
We can place license, registration, authority, unit, and other operating information supplied by the owner. The contractor remains responsible for confirming current wording, size, placement, and jurisdictional requirements.
3Authorized Credentials
Association, certification, insurance, and accreditation marks should appear only when current, relevant, and approved for use. Proof review confirms placement—not the underlying entitlement or claim.
4Useful Brand Proof
A verified founding year, specialty, or service-area line can add context when it is concise and genuinely helps a prospective customer understand the business.
5Service List — Color-Coded By Trade
Roofing · Siding · Gutters · Windows. Or Kitchen · Bath · Additions · Basements. A short service list (3–5 items max) tells the homeowner whether you solve their specific problem.
6Site Signage Match
We extend the truck design to yard signs, A-frames, banners, and trailer wraps. The neighbor seeing your truck, your yard sign, and your enclosed trailer should see one brand — not three different vendors.
7Phone Number — Big, One Color, Highly Visible
6-inch character height minimum on a pickup, 8-inch on a dually or box truck. Single brand color. Place it on the bed side, the tailgate, and the cab rear window for maximum read-time.
Construction Vehicle Wrap Planning Ranges
Use these figures as early budgeting guidance. The written quote depends on vehicle dimensions, coverage, body condition, equipment, artwork, access, quantity, and scheduling.

| Half-ton pickup (F-150 / Silverado / Ram 1500) | Full body + tailgate | $1,800 – $2,800 |

Full Wrap vs Partial Wrap vs Lettering
License, Authority & Unit Lettering for Contractor Fleets
Construction vehicles may need trade, carrier, authority, unit, weight, or other information depending on the business, vehicle, work, and jurisdiction. Hawk Wraps can organize owner-supplied content into the design; the operator should verify current requirements with the appropriate agency or qualified adviser before approving production.

Coverage matched to useHow We Wrap a Contractor Fleet
Consultation & Truck Audit
Walk through trades, license display obligations, fleet composition, and seasonal calendar. Photograph one representative truck to spot prior touch-up paint, body filler, or rust that might affect adhesion. 1–2 days.
Design & Proof
Vehicle-specific proof — cab sides, bed sides, tailgate, hood if in scope. Two rounds of revision. For multi-vehicle fleets we proof every vehicle type once and apply that brand system across the fleet. 3–5 days.
Print & Lamination
Printed on 3M IJ180Cv3 at our Linden facility. UV-laminated with 3M 8519 gloss or 8520 matte for gravel and salt resistance. Color-matched against your brand standard. 2–3 days.
Installation
Timing depends on vehicle size, coverage, preparation, old-graphic removal, equipment access, material, quantity, and the current calendar. Fleet units can be phased around field availability when practical.
