Build a Branded Environment From the Wall Out
Hawk Wraps creates custom wall graphics for offices, retail spaces, restaurants, fitness facilities, events, and larger environments across NJ, NYC, CT, and PA. Every project begins with the exact surface—because painted drywall, texture, masonry, glass, and exterior walls need different preparation, materials, expectations, and approvals.
A Strong Mural Starts Before the Artwork
A brand wall is both a graphic and a surface installation. Paint age and adhesion, primer, texture, drywall finish, repairs, dust, moisture, coatings, outlets, vents, trim, corners, furniture, traffic, lighting, and cleaning all shape what can be installed and how it will look.
We survey those conditions before recommending a construction. Smooth painted drywall may support one approach; porous masonry, deep texture, sealed concrete, glass, or exterior walls may require testing, preparation, a different material, or a different display system entirely. A test patch can reduce uncertainty, but it cannot expose every hidden paint, repair, or moisture condition.
Removal expectations belong in the first conversation too. Products marketed as removable can still lift weak paint, primer, drywall paper, repairs, or coatings. Age, heat, contamination, moisture, and technique also matter. We will specify the intended use and discuss known risks, but we do not promise that every wall will return to its pre-installation finish.

What Shapes a Wall Graphics Quote
Square footage matters, but surface preparation, obstacles, panel strategy, protection, access, approvals, and removal planning often determine more of the real scope.
| Scope Area | Information We Need | What Can Change the Quote | Decision Point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wall Survey | Photos, dimensions, substrate, paint and repair history | Moisture, dust, texture, coatings, weak paint, unknown repairs | Adhesive graphic, test, preparation, or alternate system |
| Artwork and Design | Brand files, copy, photography, wall elevation, viewing point | Asset quality, licensing, content development, approvals | Print-ready production or custom environmental design |
| Graphic Construction | Indoor or outdoor use, target period, finish, cleaning | Film, ink, protection, panel overlap, edge exposure | Construction documented in the proposal |
| Architecture | Outlets, switches, vents, trim, corners, doors, fixtures | Cutouts, alignment, design interruption, panel count | Move content, incorporate features, or change the scope |
| Installation Access | Work hours, occupancy, ceiling height, loading and parking | Lifts, furniture moves, security, phased work, travel | Business-hours, after-hours, weekend, or staged install |
| Existing Graphics | Material, age, condition, adhesion, known surface history | Removal time, residue, repairs, hidden wall conditions | Test removal and revised surface-preparation plan |
| Exterior Approval | Property, municipality, zoning, landmark and design criteria | Licensed professionals, permits, engineering, safety systems | Owner-approved documentation before production |
Send straight-on wall photos, approximate width and height, close-ups of texture and damage, project address, target date, approved artwork, access constraints, and the expected removal or handback condition. A site survey or test patch may still be required.
Choose the Approach After the Wall Review
Wall Graphics With the Surface in the Conversation
Surface Survey First
We document material, paint and repair history where known, texture, dust, moisture, coatings, damage, obstacles, access, lighting, traffic, and cleaning before selecting the construction.
Wall-Scale Design
Brand assets, photography, copy, and environmental graphics are rebuilt around the measured elevation, intended viewing point, architecture, furniture, and content clear zones.
In-House Production
Approved files are printed, finished, panelled, labelled, and quality-checked at our Linden facility so the survey, proof, production map, and installation set stay connected.
Access Planning
We build the work plan around occupancy, furniture, security, ceiling height, lifts, loading, safe work areas, noise limits, permitted hours, and phased handoffs.
Removal Risks in Writing
The proposal identifies the intended product and known surface conditions. Removable film and test patches can help manage risk, but neither is a warranty that paint or drywall will remain unchanged.
Approval-Aware Exterior Scope
For exterior work, the property team confirms zoning, sign, facade, landmark, structural, access, and licensed-trade requirements. Any Hawk Wraps coordination role is defined before production.
Wall Graphics by Environment
These concepts show how message, viewing distance, architecture, and daily use can shape the design. Final materials and preparation depend on the surveyed surface.
Wall Graphics by Industry
Each environment brings its own surface, traffic, cleaning, content, facilities, and approval requirements. Those operating conditions shape the wall graphic system.
| Industry | Common Wall Applications | Planning Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Corporate Offices | Lobby identity, culture walls, timelines, workplace graphics | Facilities standards, architecture, sightlines, brand approval |
| Retail | Feature walls, seasonal campaigns, fitting-room graphics | Fixtures, traffic, campaign dates, removal handback |
| Restaurants & Hospitality | Dining-room murals, guest arrival, interior storytelling | Heat, grease, moisture, cleaning, occupied-space documents |
| Fitness & Recreation | Large imagery, studio identity, locker and program graphics | Impact, equipment clearance, humidity, maintenance |
| Healthcare | Waiting-area murals, lobby branding, approved environmental graphics | Facility material review, cleaning, required signs kept separate |
| Technology & Agencies | Brand environments, meeting backgrounds, creative feature walls | Asset quality, camera views, displays, future updates |
| Real Estate & Property Management | Leasing centers, amenity graphics, property identity | Owner approval, tenant changes, surface handback |
| Events & Experiential | Photo walls, sponsor environments, temporary venue graphics | Dates, venue rules, install access, removal responsibility |
| Education | School identity, athletic facilities, cafeterias, program walls | Supervision, impact zones, facility approvals, durability needs |
| Construction & Development | Barriers, hoarding, opening graphics, leasing environments | Property, municipality, safety, access, weather, schedule |
From Surface Review to Installed Wall Graphic
Survey and Test the Surface
We gather dimensions, photos, substrate and paint history, texture, moisture and damage observations, obstacles, lighting, traffic, cleaning, access, and removal expectations. The exact wall may require a test patch.
Specify and Design
We recommend an application path, map the artwork to the elevation, and prepare a scaled proof around architecture and the intended viewing point. Approvals, licensed imagery, copy, and revision scope are resolved before production.
Produce and Organize Panels
The approved construction is printed, finished, panelled, labelled, and checked against the production map at our Linden facility. The installation set accounts for seams, overlaps, cutouts, and wall sequence.
Prepare, Install, and Hand Off
We coordinate the work area, perform the agreed preparation, install the mapped panels, review visible seams and edges, and provide care guidance for the specified material and environment.
What We Resolve Before Wall Graphics Reach Production
The best wall graphic is not simply the largest image. It is the system that fits the surface, space, architecture, operating environment, and future change plan.

Cities We Serve
Wall Graphics Reviews
Recent feedback from Hawk Wraps clients across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
We wanted to bring some life into our office without doing a full renovation. Alex helped us turn a few blank walls into branded graphics that completely changed the atmosphere. The installation was incredibly clean, the seams are almost impossible to find, and the project was completed after business hours so our team never experienced any downtime.
Our gym had large empty walls that didn't reflect our brand. Gabby worked with us on sizing and placement, making sure everything fit the space perfectly. The graphics have become one of the first things members notice when they walk in, and they've shown up in countless photos on social media.
Patient experience is important to us, so we wanted our waiting area to feel warmer and more welcoming. Tito recommended subtle environmental graphics instead of overwhelming the space. The installation was professional, completed after clinic hours, and the finished walls look fantastic.
We recently expanded into a larger office and wanted graphics that reflected our company culture. Luis coordinated everything from measurements to installation, and every wall came out exactly as expected. The attention to detail around corners, outlets, and glass partitions really stood out.
We installed educational graphics throughout several hallways and classrooms during school break. Alex scheduled the work so everything was finished before students returned. The colors are vibrant, installation is flawless, and the walls now feel much more engaging for both students and visitors.
